Cathy's Latest linocuts are of familiar scenes around the Tyne Valley and Hadrian’s Wall. Celebrating the wonderful people and countryside of Northumberland.
Over the summer Cathy visited Tynedale towns and beauty spots in and around Hadrian’s Wall Country . She drew the landscape and some of the activities that were going on. From these sketches she is producing a series of linocuts. Above left “Walking Hadrian’s Wall”, above right “Curlew at Walltown”.
